After you complete onboarding, you will land on the “Tasks” page. This is where you can see today’s agenda. Your day is automatically planned, your tasks are there, and you can get to work.
I would recommend reviewing your tasks, projects, and your events at this point too just to make sure there isn’t anything you notice that should be added before kicking things off.
One thing that might need to be done is creating events for the time you may not have previously put on your calendar.
For example, you can create a “Lunch” event every day to prevent tasks from being scheduled during your lunch period. This can also be done for dinner if you use TurboHog for personal tasks.
Other events might be morning stand-ups, workouts, picking kids up from school, anything that you regularly do should become a recurring event in TurboHog to ensure tasks don’t get scheduled during this protected time.
TurboHog has tons of different themes for you to choose from, and new ones are added all the time.
These can be accessed by clicking on the name/email in the bottom left of the app and selecting “Settings”. Then, go to the appearance tab.
Simply click on the theme that you want to use, and it will instantly become active.
You can also change your favicon here. This is helpful when adding TurboHog to your phone, as it will become the app icon.
As you use TurboHog, you will most likely find tasks you forgot, projects you missed, etc.
Adding these along the way is easy, and it is something you will be doing more in your first week using the app.
After a few weeks, adding tasks will become more common than projects, most likely, and you can use bulk task importing to make it even easier.
You may have just added one calendar to TurboHog during onboarding to save time and make sure you like the app before linking more.
Luckily, you can add more calendars by going to Settings and selecting the “Calendar” tab. Then, click the “+ Connect” button. You will then be prompted to sign in to another Google Account.
After the account is linked, you can use the toggles to enable or disable calendars linked to that account.
